Phentermine
Phentermine is an appetite suppressant whose effects are based on suppressing the central nervous system changing the way your body reacts to the signals usually responsible for causing appetite. It’s most efficient when combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Some of the side effects phentermine causes can impair your reactions and concentration. If you have to perform some tasks that require you to be alert and concentrated – make sure you know for sure how this drug affects your thinking. Drinking alcohol can only increase the side effects of phentermine, so it’s important to avoid drinking any alcoholic beverages during the entire period of your treatment. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medications, such as guanadrel, oral insulin medications, oral diabetes drugs, guanethidine, high blood pressure medications, or antidepressants. Nervousness, headache, dry mouth, itching, tremors, dizziness, diarrhea, insomnia, and constipation are most commonly reported mild side effects. You do not have to worry if you get these symptoms soon after taking your first dose of phentermine, as your body obviously needs some time to adjust to the new medication.
